Rail roughness measurement

Rail roughness measurements are performed according to the applicable standards (ISO3095 or EN15610) in order to:

• qualify a site as a candidate to perform rolling stock noise type tests
• survey rail corrugation and rail roughness
• for trackwork acceptance after grinding
